This week Mr. Lane and Mr. Knight's Social Studies classes spent three days in the library learning about how to be a better digital citizen. Together the classes determined how to make more effective and efficient online searches, how to analyze sources for reliability, and they applied fair use of online materials to real-world examples.

As Week of Respect comes to an end at Roosevelt Intermediate School. On Friday, students wore a team sports jersey to show we are all, at RIS, on the same team!
6th grade Technology, Engineering and Design I classes were thinking out-of- the-box to work together as a team to build a tower of cups using only one rubber band and string. Students could not use any body part to touch/move the cups.
Schools are closed on Wednesday, October 5 in observance of Yom Kippur.

As we celebrate Hispanic LatinX Heritage Month, the students in Senora Maver's Spanish class studied influential Hispanic Americans to learn about their impact on culture and community.
