Earth Day is fast approaching (It's April 22nd)! In celebration of Earth Day, Edison Intermediate School students participated in a district-wide poster contest sponsored by the Westfield Green Team. Congratulations to our Edison winner, Celine Zhang, for her wonderful poster that truly embodied the contest theme of "Invest In Our Planet." A special thank you to District Science Supervisor, Tom Paterson, and the Westfield Green Team for planning this poster contest.

Edison Intermediate School 8th grade students were incredibly fortunate to hear from Stephen Hill on both Wednesday, for a large group assembly, and Friday in smaller groups. Stephen shared his story of being addicted to opiods for ten years and the many mistakes he made as a teenager which led him down this path of addiction. Stephen then shared his inspiring journey to recovery.

Mr. Wiley's 6th science class had the pleasure of having a classmate be the Scientist for a Day. He asked his peers questions and guided them through their assignments. This activity motivates students to actively engage in class and with their peers!
