WHS students pose for picture at Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crimes Center

A visit to the Homeland Security Investigations Forensic Laboratory and a Q&A session with members of Rep. Thomas Kean Jr’s staff were among the highlights for Westfield High School students during a recent field trip to Washington, D.C.  The trip was organized by retired Westfield detective Ron Allen, executive director of the Westfield Police Athletic League (PAL) and WHS teacher Gail Alston, PAL Coordinator for the WHS Mentoring and Tutoring Program.

Unable to attend the national PAL conference held during the summer, the students traveled to the nation’s capital on October 3 and 4, where they also visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
