Registration for the Westfield STEM Camp 2025 will open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3 through Friday, February 14. Because space is limited, a lottery will be conducted for the online registration at https://sites.google.com/westfieldnjk12.org/stemcamp/home.
Westfield STEM Camp, a dynamic and engaging program designed to inspire the next generation of STEM innovators, will run for 3 weeks in July with sessions for Westfield students entering grades 3-8. The camp runs daily from 8:30 - 12:30 at Edison Intermediate School.
The camp promises an unforgettable experience for students eager to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Its hands-on curriculum is designed and run by Westfield educators, for Westfield residents. Participants will:
Develop problem-solving, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
Create projects that they can showcase to family and friends
Meet like-minded peers and form lasting friendships
"STEM Camp is more than just a summer program—it’s a launchpad for innovation and creativity,” said Sean Bonasera, Camp Coordinator and STEM teacher. “Our mission is to create curiosity, and empower students with the tools and confidence they need to pursue careers in STEM fields, which are essential to shaping the future.”
