Wednesday, May 8, 2024: Despite a dreary start to the day, the atmosphere at the annual Spring Flower Patch event at the Lincoln Early Childhood Center was anything but dampened. As raindrops pattered against the windows, the anticipation among students bubbled with excitement, eager to embark on a day filled with floral delights and fun activities.
Fortunately, the weather soon turned in our favor, allowing the festivities to bloom. Students reveled in the opportunity to peruse the colorful array of blossoms, carefully selecting their favorite to take home and nurture.
The day unfolded with an array of engaging activities, from arts and crafts sessions where little hands adorned pots with stickers and markers, to lively field games that filled the air with laughter and joy. Storytime sessions captivated imaginations and sparked curiosity.
