Wilson fifth grade scientists traveled to the Buehler Challenger and Science Center. While there, students worked in teams to conduct investigations and apply principles of math and science to successfully complete their missions.

Edison families generously donated non-perishables for the annual Student Government Association Thanksgiving Food Drive. SGA advisor Mr. Cusumano dropped off hundreds of pounds of donations to a local food bank. Thank you to all!
Fun fall singalongs at Washington and Jefferson!
Generous contributions from the Tamaques school community enabled the Tamaques Cares Committee to buy and box Thanksgiving meals from dinner to dessert for families in need. The Tamaques PTO also delivered pies, bread, and Philly Pretzels to Westfield first responders.
A successful Thanksgiving Food Drive at Jefferson, with generous families donating more than 575 non-perishable items. The Early Act Club students and advisors organized the food and prepared it for transport to the food pantry at Grace Presbyterian Church.

WHS students were recognized with the Dr. Derrick Nelson "Lift While You Climb" Award. Annika Vesuna, Madison Wright, Ashley Pizha and Thomas Geocos were recognized for their positive impact on their classmates and school. We thank them for making WHS a better place!

As part of the WHS Environmental Science curriculum, students recently visited Sandy Hook to observe species in their natural environment, while focusing on the importance of the salt marsh as an ecosystem.

Family Reading Night at McKinley was a huge hit in October, with more than 90 families issued "boarding passes" to "travel" to destinations through the magic of the written word. The theme was "Reading Takes You Places." Great night for all!

Wilson 1st graders practice delivering weather forecasts using green screen technology with meteorologist John Marshall. The young scientists learned about weather tools, types of clouds, and extreme weather events to complement what they are studying.
